Hollie’s research interest focuses on researching environmental and nutrition policies that affect consumer choices and health and teaching at the collegiate level. Dissertation Title: TBD Teaching Interests:

Biographical Information:
Hollie gradauted from Columbia College, a liberal arts college for women in South Carolina. There she earned a BA in Business Administration and Spanish, quickly entering international business after graduation. She pursued teaching at a small independent day school as a Spanish teacher, during which time she earned an MPA from the University of South Carolina. Hollie worked as an analyst for a local police department and recognized her affinity for policy. She worked with a research team on the NC Medicaid report and is currently working to publish, as sole author, a qualitative paper about her experiences as a navigator under the ACA. She has taught classes regarding the Affordable Care Act and Research Methods. She aspires to be a professor.
